Chatachuk Market - my favourite hang-out place

We are global world walkers and have lived in the Middle East for nearly a decade before first straddling living in Malaysia and Vietnam and then Malaysia and Thailand in recent years. This photo blogis about Bangkok. We took a taxi from our villa to the ferry station in Georgetown, a ferry from Penang Island to Penang Mainland, the sloooow overnight train from Butterworth to Bangkok and finally a taxi to our apartment near Lumpini Park in Bangkok. This journey took us 24 hours, the flight back a quick 1 hour 40 minutes. Life is about the now, the journeys we take, the people and places we reach.
